Notes
- Marking Only and Help Centre jobs are more independent so a higher GPA and experience is required.
- Marking must be done in a timely manner, and undergraduate Physics TAs don鈥檛 work in the exam period, so all marking must be returned by the first day of exams.
- Physics TAs typically work ~40 hours per term, including marking. Where fewer hours are noted <, strong senior TAs may be considered for two small jobs concurrently, for example the Help Center TA and Observatory Assistant may be the same person.
- Job offers are schedule specific so e-mail cpettipa@mta.ca if you discover a conflict or have questions.
Before you begin to fill in this form, make sure you have:
- student ID number
- a list of physics courses completed with a grade of B- or above
- your completed timetable for the term you are applying to TA
- previous TA experience or other relevant experience
- cumulative GPA
